Isabella Belen Photoshoot

Today I visited my good friend Jane at her place. I was supposed to visit Bella when she was more younger but 12 days old from birth is not a big issue for the pictorial that's what I thought. Bella is more very aware of her surroundings. A spot of light easily distracted her even if her eyes closed.

This was her very first shot with no flash and just the light coming from her right. Shadows were on left and so I manipulated this photo to balance it a little bit.
I added a light on her left. She's awake now. She's distracted with the ring light.

Overall, the pictures turned out great. I wish I have a photos of Bella where she's not moving and her eyes closed so I could do poses from here but she's very alert. In the end, she still let me take good pictures of her.

1st Birthday Party

The party was great and the children were happy. The kids were able to watch the magic show, face painting, making of creative balloons and with the presence of Princess Aurora which she herself made the kids ecstatic.

Indeed, it was grand..

Timothy @ 8 days

Lucky enough that I was able to capture baby Timtim when his 8 days old. He was a tough baby when I want him to do poses because he just love not to be bothered.

But I still loved the fact that he thought me new tricks. His just an adorable baby.

Miyuki's Pictorial - 11 days Old

She's my 2nd youngest baby to work with. The first baby that I took was Bridget. Who at that time maybe was 3 days old. I saw her in the hospital while visiting Reine, it was overwhelming for me. I didn't know much about the details of using the DSLR's correct setting. The pictures wasn't the kind of photos I wanted to have. My composition was not that good at that time too.

Out of Town Pictorial

It's my very first out of town pictorial which is way out of my comfort zone. But I was comfortable doing the shoot because the people I worked with were close to my heart. I visited my best friend Louella, her baby and Dan her husband in Omaha. I was trying to prepare my stuff to do the photo shoot earlier but along the way I was having a pictorial with another friend. I will let you know about it in another post.

Anyway, since distance is an issue in doing my shoot. I am also a light traveler. I only brought a tripod, camera bag and all it's accessories. In there the flash with the garyfong dom, light meter, filter, battery, charger, sd, reflector and of course my camera. Aside from that I had my small luggage. Carrying the camera case was heavy. I got problems with my shoulder until now. Hopefully it will get better soon.Traveling alone was hard especially if you have equipments to tag along.

Baby Photos

I'm here in Cebu but I don't have time to wonder around the city and explore whatever I can since it could also be a way to take a vacation but with situations now in the family I have to divert my attention to family needs and especially I have to make use of my finances for medical bills. Just to satisfy my hobby at least in away, I used nephew and niece and friend's baby to experiment my skills.

First Infant Photo Session

So honored to have my first infant photo with Ethan. He was so fun.

His mother is a friend of mine and she was so happy that I could do some portraits of him. It was nice that I received good comments from her and the end results of the photos as well.
He was sleeping endlessly during the session.

A mother's love.
